The 3CX Private Branch Exchange (PBX) is priced based on the number of SIMULTANEOUS CALLS (SC) also referred to as LINES, on an annual license/subscription model. In this 1 line can cater to 3 to 4 extensions, providing a maximum number of 1 call at any one time; or 5 lines can cater up to 15 extensions, providing 5 SC at any one time. A company of 50 extensions would require a 16 SC license. Upgrading a license subscription is easy and can be done at any time by just paying the difference of the remaining period.

In the light of Covid-19 3CX are offering the Standard license for free for the first 3 years, until the crisis has passed. Normally the Standard license is free for the first 12 months regardless of size.
